Madotsuki the Dreamer is a sprawling, multi-format investigation into the digital life of Joshua Ryne Goldberg. It takes the form of installations, videos, photographs, and data visualizations that together map the architecture of one of the most prolific online fabricators in internet history.

The project uses generative AI as both subject and medium. Machine learning models are trained on the traces Goldberg left across platforms, forums, and social media accounts. The outputs are not illustrations of his personas; they are documents of multiplicity. Each generated image collapses a hundred identities into a single surface, producing faces that belong to no one and everyone simultaneously.

Data visualizations chart the topology of Goldberg's network: which personas talked to which, how conflicts were manufactured between his own creations, how a single bedroom in Florida became the origin point of real-world consequences. The work treats data not as evidence but as landscape, revealing the hidden structures that shaped a decade of online manipulation.
